Job description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a full-time, on-site position working 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and offers $67,600 – $73,840 annually ($32.50 – $35.50 per hour).

In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of production equipment through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methods.

  • Perform alignment and installation of mechanical drive systems.

  • Execute preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery.

  • Replace failed parts or components and adjust equipment to meet operational standards.

  • Maintain proper lubrication requirements for machinery.

  • Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.

  • Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, conduits, and lighting fixtures.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records to support future planning and reliability efforts.

  • Train and mentor junior technicians and equipment operators.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (2-year technical degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or comparable experience.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and shop equipment.

  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, CMMS, etc.).

  • Ability to multitask and successfully complete required certification testing.
