Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing architectural projects from inception
to completion, with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget management. This role
involves leading multidisciplinary teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring
that projects meet both client expectations and regulatory standards. The Project
Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and
within budget.
Primary Essential Functions:
Lead architectural projects through all phases, from initial concept development
to construction completion, ensuring that project goals are met.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on
project progress, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns.
Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans,
ensuring that projects remain on track and within financial constraints.
Coordinate and manage the work of internal teams, consultants, and
contractors, ensuring seamless integration of various disciplines into the overall
project.
Ensure that all project activities comply with building codes, safety standards,
zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
Conduct regular project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams
to review progress and address any issues that arise during the project
lifecycle.
Oversee quality control efforts, ensuring that design deliverables meet both
internal and client standards for accuracy and technical excellence.
Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure that
they are consistent with the design intent and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, resolve issues, and
ensure adherence to design specifications.
Manage project financials, including tracking project costs, approving invoices,
and ensuring that the project remains profitable.
Identify risks early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to
avoid delays or cost overruns.
Collaborate with business development teams to contribute to proposals,
presentations, and new project opportunities.
Ensure that project closeout activities, such as punch list resolution and post-
occupancy evaluations, are completed satisfactorily.
Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and create opportunities
for future projects.
Engage in continuous improvement efforts by evaluating project outcomes and
incorporating lessons learned into future projects.

Skills
Proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

project teams.

Problem-solving skills for addressing project challenges and ensuring timely
resolutions.
Strong documentation and reporting skills to track project progress and
outcomes.

Job requirements
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
5-7 years of project management experience in architecture.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or
attending meetings.
Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards,
telephones, and printers.
Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials
(up to 25 lbs.).
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and
through written communication.
